Tamil Nadu Gets Its First CM Internship Program

Tamil Nadu has done something new. For the first time, the state has started a special CM internship program. This training will happen under the strict guidance and supervision of the DMK party directly and indirectly.

Before the election, Vijay's team and his fans heavily abused Stalin and made fun of the DMK. They used very emotional language and often spoke without thinking. Many actors also openly supported Vijay and claimed he would never become corrupt.

Despite all this, former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin showed true statesmanship. Even after being attacked, he generously extended his hand to help Vijay. He is giving full support so that Vijay can learn the ropes through this five-year internship program. Many are calling it one of the best opportunities a young actor-turned-politician could ever get.

Mr. Vijay has been successful since 2023 in emotionally connecting with people through his movies. Young people, and even educated uncles and aunties, got deeply attached to the roles he played on screen. This strong emotional bond created a blind wave of support. It led to huge voting turnout for him in the 2026 election.

Now that he is in power, every single move Vijay makes will be closely watched by experienced DMK leaders — leaders who are seen as experts in Tamil Nadu politics. The big question remains: Will he be able to fulfill all the promises he made?

In today's age of AI and fast-changing times, blindly voting for someone just because of emotional attachment and lack of experience can backfire on the people. Critical thinking is very important in politics. Tamil Nadu, which has one of the sharpest political landscapes in India, has many lessons to teach.

These are going to be very interesting years ahead. A lot can be learned from what happens in the state. This internship program is being watched with great interest by everyone.
