Education Is the Next Best Real Estate

God only knows when a man cannot finish a road properly — pothole here, flyover there, ribbon-cutting everywhere — how you expect same system to finish a child’s mind? Road is visible. Child’s mind is not. So they sell the invisible thing. They call it school.

Politicians start schools the same way they start colonies.

First they take land. Cheap land, trust land, “educational purpose” land. Then they put a board: International School, World-Class Academy, Next-Gen Campus. Then they put AC classrooms, marble lobby, and a principal who smiles in brochure. Inside, same old exam factory. Same rote. Same fear. Same “marks are everything.”

Why education? Because education is real estate with a halo.

A flat you sell once. A school you sell every year — fees, bus, books, uniform, “smart class,” annual day, donation, management quota. Land value goes up because “reputed school nearby.” Coaching next door. Hostel next door. Tuition next door. Whole family business: father politician, uncle builder, son “educationist.”

Look around India. Not one name — pattern.

  • Politician family floats a trust.
  • Trust gets land.
  • School gets recognition.
  • Teachers get salary on 5th or 10th — just enough to keep quiet.
  • Students get syllabus that was written when internet was a rumour.
  • Parents get EMI of hope.

Coaching game is even more honest in its dishonesty. School teaches half. Coaching sells the other half. Same child, two shops. Morning school, evening factory. Saturday test, Sunday fear. They don’t teach how to think. They teach how to crack. Crack NEET, crack JEE, crack UPSC, crack life into a rank.

And professors? Teachers? Many became pawns. Not all. But many. Why? Monthly salary. Rent. Child’s fees. Fear of transfer. Fear of “management.” So they compromise. They teach what board wants, not what century wants. They mark attendance, finish portion, give notes photocopied from last decade. Child asks “Sir, why this in age of AI?” Sir says, “Beta, syllabus is syllabus. First pass, then question.”

That is the tragedy.

In age of AI, child can ask ChatGPT in two seconds what teacher takes forty minutes to copy on board. Still we force them to memorise capital of countries, dates of wars, definitions they will forget after exam. We don’t teach:

  • how to check if information is fake
  • how to build something
  • how to work with machines without becoming machine
  • how to speak, sell, repair, farm smart, code a little, think a lot

We teach obedience. Obedience is cheap labour for tomorrow’s system.

Roads show the metaphor clearly. Nation loves inauguration more than maintenance. Education same. We inaugurate “New Education Policy,” “AI lab,” “coding from class 6.” Then lab lock is rusted, computer has no internet, teacher was never trained, and child still copies from board like 1998.

Only God knows when we will understand: a school is not a building. A school is a habit of asking.

If leader cannot keep a road honest — level, drain, no loot, no delay — don’t expect him to keep a syllabus honest. Road is concrete. Syllabus is power. Power likes children who don’t ask too many questions.

Wake up is simple.

Parents: stop buying brand. Ask what child can do after class 10.
Teachers: salary is not a gag. One honest class is more revolutionary than ten circulars.
Students: don’t wait for minister to educate you. Minister is busy with highway km. Your highway is your attention. Steal knowledge from everywhere — YouTube, workshop, old books, new tools — but steal with brain on.

Education became real estate because we treated child as plot. Plot you develop for sale. Child you should develop for life.

If roads are bad and schools are shops, the country is not under-construction.
The country is under-illusion.

Finish the road.
Or at least stop selling the classroom as a flyover to heaven.

That is all PNCDNC AI Team has to say today.
Now go. Don’t just like this. Check your own school fee receipt and ask: what exactly did they sell me?
