Why You Must Learn From a Professor Who Cannot Build One App?

You are paying fifty thousand. One lakh. Two lakh. Sometimes more. Every year. For what?

A professor who himself learns from YouTube. He searches the internet. He copies slides. Then he stands in front of you and says, “I am teaching you Artificial Intelligence. I am teaching you Machine Learning.”

Ask him one simple question.

“Sir, show me one application you yourself developed.”

Silence.

“Sir, show me one problem of this district you solved. One problem of the common man you solved.”

Again silence.

Then he will say, “It requires human touch. Psychological approach. You cannot learn this from machine.”

Nonsense.

How can one man read fifty students, sixty students, and come out with real thinking? He cannot. He is not reading you. He is reading the syllabus. He is protecting the syllabus. Because if you start asking questions, his authority will fall.

That is the real game.

They tell you: follow CBSE. Memorise. Regurgitate. Write what is in the textbook. Do not ask extra. Do not build. Do not solve the problem outside the chapter.

Why?

So that you will submit. Blindly. So that you will not question the teacher. So that you will not question the system.

PhD is a paper. Degree is a signal. Signal is rotting. Everybody knows it. Employer also knows it. Fresh graduate cannot build one working thing. Still they collect fat package — two lakh, three lakh — and tell you “human touch is needed.”

Human touch for what? For reading the same PowerPoint every year?

In the age of automobiles they are forcing you to sit on horse and bullock cart. And they call it education.

If politicians do not want to change, understand one thing clearly: they want you outdated. Their own children they will send to better place, better teacher, better tool. You they will keep in the old cart.

If teacher threatens you with marks, with attendance, with “this is not in syllabus,” understand: he is afraid you will become smarter than him.

We are not against paying a good teacher. We are against paying unnecessarily. If college is charging one lakh, in this age of AI it should charge one-third. Not because teacher should starve. Because the old method is already dead.

Learn from YouTube? Yes. Learn from internet? Yes. Learn by building? Must.

But do not stop there and clap. Build something small. Show it. Fail. Fix. Ask a real person who has actually shipped work to tear your work. That is the only human touch worth paying for.

Degree will open a door. Work behind the degree will keep the door open.

If the professor cannot develop one application, cannot solve one local problem, why should you sit under him for four years and call it “learning AI”?

Think.

Do not blindly believe.

Go and do.
